Hotel offers 240 rooms, suites, apartments and bungalows, all elegantly designed, spacious and equipped with ensuite bathroom, bathtub, hairdryer, telephone, satellite/cable TV and Wireless Internet access. There is also individually adjustable air conditioning and heating, and a safe is provided as standard. The apartments are the perfect choice for families, they have two bedrooms, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. and living room with fireplace which leads directly onto a private terrace with stunning views of the Montseny. For larger groups there are the bungalows with accommodation for 10 in five double rooms and with 3 bathrooms.

El Montanya has a most varied gastronomic offer with a careful selection of the freshest market produce. The buffet offers a selection of hot and cold starters, hot main courses, show cooking on the grill and a large variety of desserts and pastries. The on-site restaurant serves delicious Catalan, Spanish as well as international cuisine for you to feast on. You can sip your favourite drink as well as relax in the cosy atmosphere of the tastefully designed bar.

El Montanya offers a hydro thermal circuit, therapeutic massage, body and facial treatments, solarium, fitness centre and a hot tub. The Spa is set against the stunning background of the Montseny Natural Park. However, it's the outdoors that really appeals to guests at El Montanya. You will get gorgeous surroundings for swimming, tennis, football (soccer), and other outdoor sports. In the backdrop are peaks reaching a height of over 17,300 meter.

Hotel El Montanya are set in well cared for gardens with an indoor and outdoor pool (summer only), tennis courts and children’s play area. Further sporting facilities include two football pitches – one natural grass and the other artificial and an indoor sports pavilion suitable for basketball, hockey, indoor football etc. You can also enjoy hiking through the open countryside surrounding the hotel, taking advantage of the various guided walks. It is also possible to go on excursions into the countryside on quad bikes or mountain bikes, to try target archery or 3D archery, to go on 4x4 trails and to have a go at paintballing.

The 18 hole Osona Montanya Golf course is 5 minute drive from the Hotel. It is comprised of 4 par 3 holes, 10 par 4 and 4 par 5. It is a fairly standard country course with long fairways, semi-rough and rough. The excellent greens are undulating and difficult. The Osona Montanya Golf course is situated on the north-west slope of the Montseny Natural Park, which covers a surface of 17,300 ha. and at an elevation of 779 meters above sea level. This specially protected area was designated Biosphere Reserve by Unesco in 1978. Because of differences in altitude and climate, the area contains vegetation, flora and fauna ranging from typically Mediterranean to sub alpine. This circumstance has led to an abundance of luxuriant extremes, which provides this area with one of the richest natural environments in Europe and the Mediterranean.

The natural environment is not threatened by golf and an ecological balance is necessary and possible. In the inspiring environment of El Montanya, we can demonstrate the balance provided between the pleasure of playing golf and the contemplation of the development of biological diversity.

Guests arriving at Barcelona's El Prat Airport should take the ring road Ronda Litoral or Ronda de Dalt, then the AP7 motorway towards Girona. Take Exit 2 for Vic/Puigcerda, and then the C17 towards Vic. Turn off for Aiguafreda, and continue towards the El Montanya development area. It is approximately 4 km to the hotel.
