Hotel Maisonnave, Pamplona, Navarra, Spain

The 3 star Hotel Maisonnave has a long standing tradition in Pamplona. The first Hotel Maisonnave was next to the Plaza del Castillo (the main square in the city). In the 1920’s the hotel was host to the first international tourists in Pamplona.

In 1944, the hotel passed from the hands of its founders, the Maisonnave family, into the hands of its current owners, The Alemán family. Since then a history of constant renewal began in order to adapt the hotel to present service and comfort requirements. The latest refurbishment of the hotel was carried out in 1997 and its result is a new and modern hotel while keeping its tradition.

All the rooms, as well as the cafeteria and the restaurant were refurbished. The Restaurant “El Mirador”, located on the top floor is a privileged place where you can enjoy exquisite meals and excellent city views. The cafeteria is the perfect location to have a coffee or “pinchos” and a good wine from Navarra while enjoying a quiet chat.

This hotel, which has now added a superb modernization to its long tradition, still offers the most personal, highest quality service. This is Pamplona’s hotel. After the latest refurbishment, Hotel Maisonnave offers an unrepeatable atmosphere with all the services of an extremely comfortable modern hotel. It offers 152 rooms equipped with full bathroom with a whole range of features, color satellite TV with remote control, writing desk, direct dial telephone and mini bar.

In addition, all rooms are soundproofed and protected by our magnetic band card lock system, which guarantees total privacy and security. There are also two suites, which are decorated with a very personal Touch, where every detail is designed to make our guests’ stay even more comfortable. Amenities available to guests include handicapped access, coffee bar, garden, terrace, hairdresser, lift, medical service, meeting rooms, money exchange, safe, sauna and car park.

  • Guide to Pamplona

Pamplona is the political, administrative financial and cultural centre of Navarra. The old walled city, previously secluded, now extends across the Arga river basin and joins up with the surrounding towns to form a conurbation that is home to a quarter of a million people, wich is half the population of the Community.

Visitors discover a dynamic city that has a variety of building stules, with largely modern architecture but also restored buildingsin the Old Part, diverse and thriving commerce, extensive parls and numerous meeting places. Pamplona is in the geographical centre of Navarra, and an extensive road system enables you to take trips to anywhere in Navarra, the longest being less than two hours by car. Pamplona is also, as millions of people in the world know, the place where the San Fermin festivity is held.
