The 5 star Hotel Mas de Torrent is situated in the beutiful village of Torrent, very near the nicest beaches and coves of the Costa Brava (Begur, Llafranc, Calella, Aiguablava, Palamos…), the Roman remains at Empuries and the medieval cities of Pals and Peratallada. Mas de Torrent is set in a restored Masia, a typical Catalan manor house, dating back from the eighteenth century. The restaurant of the Mas de Torrent hotel is a very special place. It is considered to be one of the best gastronomic establishments in Catalonia. The chead chef Joan Pique learned his trade in a Michelin 2 star restaurant and has bought his outstanding skills to the Mas de Torrent kitchen. The restaurant offers a cuisine based on the wealth of seasonal products of the sea and land, in an elegant, informal, traditional and very welcoming atmosphere.

Guide to the Costa Brava
Costa Brava has been considered a package holiday, fish and chips and sangria destination, an image based only on few towns of the Southern Costa Brava. The real Costa Brava is a diverse region of extraordinary natural beauty and heritage (Dali, Romanesque, Roman Ruins).
A traditional fishing port, Sant Feliu de Guixols has beautiful architecture and good restaurants. Its neighbour, S'Agaro was founded in the 1920s as a Modernist destination for the rich and famous. Capital of the Costa Brava is Girona, a walled city of Roman origin and located at a strategic point on the route between the Pyrenees and Barcelona.
