Spent a relaxing new year (four nights) at Moli del Mig. The restaurant and lounges were beautifully-designed, minimal but warm. Large and clean garden villa; very comfortable. English widely spoken though I think we were the only foreigners for the Catalan new year package. An easy kilometer outside Torroella. Best to cycle into town. Area is covered with walking routes and cycle paths: paddy fields, woodland, golf courses, orchards and views to the snowy Pyrenees.
