The 4 star Hotel Raco de Madremanya is a magnificent stone farmhouse dating from the 18th century, completely restored, with 8 large rooms with balconies, fireplaces, several lounges with comfortable spaces, a wonderful garden and a beautiful swimming pool for the hottest days. The Raco de Madremanya owners have preserved the warmth of an old manor house, its ancient things, its stone walls, domed roofs, but they have also created cosy spaces with a very relaxing atmosphere (the garden, the terrace, the fireplace…). On the first floor of the house there is a big living room, the perfect place to spend an evening reading or listening to music. From here you can access five of the house’s rooms. These rooms are remarkable for their spaciousness, their impeccable details and for having, each one of them, a different personality: some have their own balcony and others a fireplace. All of them have beautiful views. From the living room it is also possible to gain access to a large balcony where you can enjoy the blue sky of the Emporda and the quietness of the environment. On the second floor you will find two large, bright rooms forming a small apartment at the top of the house. One of these rooms leads out onto a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy the sunny days. The large garden has a fabulous swimming pool and a big terrace where you can sunbathe, savour a drink of fresh fruit juice, read a book or just lie down the springy lawn and relax enjoying the silence of nature. We invite you to spend a few days of relaxation and peace, to go out into the Pyrenees mountains, to lie on the Costa Brava beaches and watch the sundown, to play several sports, to discover this Catalan region, its culture and its gastronomy. Under the sun of the Emporda, everything seems to be more luminous, the landscapes’ contrasts are part of its beauty, and in the middle of such a beautiful sight is located the medieval village of Madremanya.
